    Just got back from my FFL , picked up this gen 3 Mka 1919 12ga, got it from RKGuns $489.98 + $9.99 shipping. Hopefully, I'll get my measurements done and send my sbs form 1 to the NFA today. Cutting to 13.5" :)

    Incorrect. They ARE legal(just not on roster), You will just need to do a PTP transfer on a used one.(unless you are LEO, MIL, etc then you can purchase new). I have a few Gen 4's. Just a few more hoops to jump though...thanks commiefornia.

    Hmm interesting. I have heard of guys getting through a loop hole in this state, just wasn't sure how they were doing it. I guess with all that extra work I am better off getting the Shield anyways. lol

    Thats awesome to hear. I can see why you would have tighter grouping with the 19 compared to the 26. I do much better with my G22 then my G27 as well. If I didn't have a CCW and carried a ton, and didn't already have a full size G22, I would have a 19 in a second. I try to preserve my handgun purchases for practical use, and I always felt like another compact or full-size would just sit in my gun safe and collect dust. I love shooting my brother's G19 though. Smooth as butter.

    They were bringing gen4s in with the single shot exemption (not really sure what that entails) and then "converting" them to the same thing that the 49 other states are allowed. CA doesn't do SSEs anymore I think lol.

    Honestly its all just a shame. The laws are getting more and more strict here in CA every year, and its turning everything inside out. As we all know, a Gen4 Glock for example, is no different then a Gen3 Glock in terms of what it does. Same basic function and inner-workings. Some things in life will never make sense and this is one example for me. Its unfortunate....

    I concur. This great state is eroding away, and we have now gone full retard. Almost to the point of no return.
    Most people will tell you to GTFO, but unfortunately a lot of people don't have that luxury.(work/family/etc).
    We must stand strong here behind enemy lines, and speak up for what is our natural right. Not only civilians, but all sworn officers(remember; you took an oath to uphold the constitution;)
    Most will simply not comply, others will outright rebel. Either way, mass civil disobedience might be the only way to get the point across.

    First off, thank you for your service sir! Second, you are absolutely right about our rights getting taken away faster than we can blink. Its absurd, and makes me wonder where this state will be in the continuing years ahead. Good idea on the "Stocking up" method, as I am also buying up what I can while it lasts and my wallet still has some green left in it. I am dreading what 2017 is going to bring for us......

    Yeah that is a great setup. Super jealous. I wish I had the room to open up my own little workshop. In the meantime, I might have to start buying ammo from you, that is........ until they ban reloading as well. lol

    Yeah I know, it was more of a reference point to suggest 2017 is going to be a rocky(er) year after all those new laws start to take affect. Thanks J Brown!

    You don't need a lot of space to start. I have seen setups in a closet with a portable bench. Single stage press, manual powder dispenser/scale, some reloading manuals and you are good to go. With the ammo bills/legislation pending..I think it will force more people to roll their own.

    Noted, thanks. I can get a little side-tracked rambling about this state.

    Back on track;
    On a good note-
    just picked up these .30cal ammo boxes @ harbor freight for $4.99(super coupon) ea!
    Perfect for storing reloads/loose ammo.
    1k of 9mm is about the limit on these guys due to the plastic construction.
