New Tacoma

Hey every one I'm a long time lurker but just got my second Tacoma a 97 Lx 4wd extended cab it's a mess but runs barely more like lot drives I have my work cut out for me but I paid $600 for it.

 

The best CL find was the wheels for $60! The truck is nasty but I'm really liking the look compared to my 01 taco. I've degreaser this engine 4 times so far it may need it a few more times! It was being used as a trail rig for a while from the looks of things.

Thanks I'd thought I'd share this it's a hoot. Along the mud, gun shells, grime soot and trash was this treasure! Even my 1 owner DC didn't have its original window sticker. Here's food for though about inflation in our economy.

 

Here's a shot of the rear the cape surf sticker sold me it was a great place back in the days. The cab was was leaking water in like strainer thanks to the Windows lacking hard ware and a light bar that was removed long ago leaving holes in the roof which I fixed it the ghetto way with duck tape. I'm going to start a build page for this thing soon.
