What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Picked up a GoPro Session this week when I was on s cruise ship in Mexico duty free. Hooked it up tonight. Time to have fun.

 

Were you on Carnival out of Long Beach with a stop in Cabo yesterday? If so, I was there and saw your ship arrive! Also saw a 3rd gen down there the same day. TW represented in Cabo!

 

I like mine, and use it as a dash cam.

 

Out if LB but just the 5 day to Catalina and Ensenada. Wednesday I saw a 3rd gen at La Bufadora. I guess it makes sense since they're made in mainland mex.

 

Works great and no need for a screen display sine it's all controlled through your smartphone.

OK peeps, I need your help....I want the factory ride smoothness but clearance to run TRD black semas with ko2's 275/70R17...4 wheel parts told me to just run Icon stage 1 and that's all I would need plus would stick to factory ride just lifted. Does anyone have this? Or do you think I need control arms too? :/

 

If you plan on just using it for street use that kit should be fine. But if you wanna go Offroad and hit trails I would recommend atleast getting the tubular control arms icon makes.

 

Not that it was bugging me by my means, but it's going down this weekend!!

 

Just changed my front diff and transfer case fluid. The transfer case fluid was clean, however the front diff was really grey and the magnet had about 2mm of fine particle build up, no big shiny chunks! I used motul 75w90 300 for both front diff and transfer case. My truck has 7,500 miles.

 

Went to the dealer for the TSB ECM software update. The transmission shifts smoother and the R to D lag is gone. It is a totally different truck after the TSB was applied. Runs like my Highlander now which is the way I wanted it to be like. Nice and smooth. BTW, it was probably due to my new lucky charm.

 

With my Sport I've just ordered the Icon rear (56503) without the reservoir; the Icon front Extended Travel Coilover shock (58635) without reservoir; and the Tubular UCA (58450) including dust caps (19-1011) and skipping the Add-A-Leaf. I will replace the factory bump stop with the Sumo Springs rather than the expensive Icon one.
My offroad activity will be not a high priority. Nonetheless, it should be a very good build.

 

I don't care about video input at all, I would just like to be able to type in Nav address or use all functions when moving. I probably don't even need whatever he added, just need to clip a wire and add a switch, I hope we can get more info.

 

Did 3 coats of VHT & 4 coats of clear! So much better!
