"Pandora" in truck?

I know nothing about audio. Is there any way to get "Pandora" (internet radio) to play in the truck?

 

iPhone or mobile Internet are the only ways I can think of.

 

i use it frequently with my OEM headunit -> USASPEC adaptor -> iPhone. Works flawlessly. When I got set this up, I got rid of my Sirius and never looked back.

 

I just figured this out man, I have a Blackberry with Pandora mobile installed. I put in a Pioneer AVP6000DVD with bluetooth module and it works great i now get Pandora streaming audio in my truck and the sound quality could not be better!!!!!
Screw Satellite Radio!! I have Internet Radio now!!

just one problem with using a phone. NO SIGNAL = NO PANDORA RADIO.

Try driving up the Interstate 5 through california. It will go in and out on you.

 

Pretty sure that a cell phone with it is the only way to get it.

 

I work on permitting cell sites; you can thank your wonderful City of LA Planning Department for this. Also all those damn neighborhood Councils that wouldn't know good cell phone coverage if they if they had their own tower, lol.

Problem is, the younger generation who uses cell phones most are not the ones making the decisions....

Mine never has a problem. You know what gww, you dont have a map for that.

 

This is what I do.

I have Clear WiMax (Atlanta) plugged into the ClearSpot that turns the WiMax signal into wifi. I then hook up either my droid or itouch via wifi and stream Slacker (so much better than Pandora), via ministereo to a converter into the back of the headunit. As long as I have a wimax connection I get streaming music. this also works if I wanted to hook up my laptop or whatever while I'm in the truck.
