    Hi,

I recently purchased the 2016 tacoma and need some help on picking out a tonneau cover. I have about 350-400 for a cover but cannot seem to figure out the best one to get. I have no preference with regard to roll type or trifold, but I do know it would be nice if I could still use the rail system and removal is somewhat easy and weatherproof is a must (hence the point of these covers). I live in Maryland if that makes any difference for weather conditions.

    Thanks

I've had a few tonneau and shells in my time and I am Really... REALLY... liking the OEM Trifold. With the OEM Cargo Divider it really makes the bed very utilitarian.

Yea the oem seems to be really nice, unfortunately it seems hard to buy it all at once at a reasonable price. Was yours installed in the factory or afterwards?

When I purchased my truck we wanted a bed cover. I ended up with a BakFlip G2 that came on the truck. For the most part its pretty "weather proof". It has a tendency to let some water in by the tailgate but not much. I only carry camping gear and suitcases in the bed and would not worry about them getting to terribly wet if I got caught in a rain storm while traveling. Pretty much anything in the 3/4 of the bed closet to the cab stays dry. It's a tri fold by the way. I've never removed it, however doubt it would be to difficult.

I will say after a good day of wheeling I notice alot of dirt/dust around the bed storage bins, however dont think its due to the bed cover.
