 Mister February... lookin good. seems we had similar tasks this weekend. lol

finally got my goodies installed on the roof rack!

Plano 43" case, my Expedition One Water pack I picked up for a stupid good price at the Overland Expo (Rotopax Fuel pack will be under the water), and my Maxsa ramps.

    before..

    after..

super easy.. 1/4" carriage bolts by the length needed for your accessories. washers, wingnuts, done. I will probably run a cable lock through the ramps and fuel/water packs. the Plano locks.

To how he mounted it or the actual case? I need to measure and figure out which case would work best

Was wondering if anyone had a spare in the basket yet... Would like to see that. Probably just cable lock it for security.

So I installed my cap rack last week and that thing is awesome. One issue I ran into involved the angle of the rails on my cap. The cap is not flat across the top, it has a slight arc. This means the cap rails are angled outward. When I bolted the Prinsu rack on, it pulled the outside of the rails off the canopy slightly since the rack is completely flat. I was worried this would put undue stress on the cap and possibly compromise the seal on the through bolts. My solution was to shim the feet where they attach to the rack using extra washers. @zscott This seems to have worked out fine but I'm wondering if I missed something during my install.

Has anybody had trouble getting in contact with Zach? I got a cab rack back in the group buy and ordered some extra tie downs and still haven't received them.
I've messaged him on here and through the prinsu website and haven't gotten a response back. Anyone else have any trouble?

Yeah, that's what I emailed him on. I'm not upset or complaining. Just trying to get what I paid for.

I haven't ever seen one that was angled quite that much but what you did is the correct solution.

Sorry man. I have sent them but usps has been pretty bad recently. Wanted to make sure they couldn't find them before I sent another set via UPS. I will send you tracking tonight.

Has anyone put a 50 in radius bar on a cab rack? I searched and could not find anything. Thanks

@zscott is there a way I could get a custom lightbar cut out for a 1st gen that will have a 36" lightbar? I'd send mine back to you if that's the case.

If not what would be the best way to cut it?
