put a 3in lift on my truck just wanted to know what you guys thought of this setup

 

Took her out and explored some local trails Then brought her home and finally derped the rear bumper

 

How the hell did you get the bolts off?? Mine are barely moving. Was able to get one off but gave up on the other. My father in law has an impact wrench so hopefully that will do the job.

I picked up these aluminum fire connection building plates at a garage sale several years ago and never knew what to do with them. I had forgotten about them but found them yesterday while cleaning out my garage. Then I came up with this idea. What do you guys think? I made two, one for me and one for my fireman neighbor just to thank him for his service. Haven't gotten around to giving it to him. I am sure that he will appreciate it.

 

Looks good Dan! I might do my truck to. I have yellow fog light bulbs but I like the look of the yellow lenses on the Pyrite.
Last night I installed a URD MAF calibrator and a few weeks ago a AFE CAI. Love it!

First off make sure federal suggests putting that size tire on a 10 inch rim. Second are you looking for the bro dozer look. If so great, personally that wheel in a 17 or 16 would look better. You get more tire size options in 17 or 16.

 

I used a long handle 3/8" ratchet. I torqued them to 65 in/lbs on installation.

Didn't even think about that. Was using a different type of wrench.

 

It's easier to hide an impact wrench from the wife than a pro grill and headlights.

LOL. Going to try a different type of wrench when I get home later. If that still doesn't work going to go to the in-laws tomorrow after work and try the impact wrench.

Surprisingly enough though, in my case I think it's easier to hide the grille and the headlights. To this day she hasn't said a word about the Pro grille!

 

Stopped by the car wash on the way home. Vacuumed the inside. Dirtier than I though. Washed windows inside. Dirtier than I though. Washed the outside......Dirtier than I thought. WAS gonna get ambitious and do a wax job when I got home

Couch more comfortable than I thought. Maybe tomorrow. Or not.

 

Deliver it to the office, do the work there and then play ignorant and say that she remembers it wrong. It's always been that way.

 

So I don't know the exact problem, but I pulled the leads off and then reconnected the battery and the truck hasn't had an idling issue since. Maybe that reset the computer or something? I don't really know, these new trucks can develop electrical bugs for no reason.
