2014 Bluetooth & Maps Issues

I have a 2014 Off Road Tacoma and recently when I started my truck the stock stereo gets stuck on loading and the Bluetooth continues to stay waiting for bluetooth. I've tried restarting the system and nothing seems to work. I cannot even open the bluetooth settings. Anyone experience this before? Any ideas on how to fix it??

 

I've not had this problem on my 2014. Have you checked the "mode" button on the steering wheel to see if it's stuck?

 

I'm having similar issues with my Entune and bluetooth.

The bluetooth option under setting has just disappeared from the menu and Bluetooth doesn't show up under the audio source option.

When I select phone, it just hangs and says "waiting for bluetooth".

Making an appointment with the dealer to have them take a look at it.

Glad I bought the extended service plan because I'd hate to have to pay for another radio....

Thanks for sharing the TSB. I have an appointment with the dealer for Monday. I'm going to let them figure it out. I don't even have the Bluetooth option under setup anymore.

Will let you know what it turns out to be. Have a zero deductible warranty thru Toyota and don't have time to mess with it.

 

Just heard back from the dealer and they have to replace my radio. Now I feel happy about getting the extended Toyotacare after I got my truck. Going to be a week or two for them to get it in stock.

I was getting the "Waiting for bluetooth" message whenever I tried to connect to my phone and the "Phone" and "Bluetooth" options were greyed out under the settings menu.

They replaced my radio under the extended warranty and now my Bluetooth works again!
