    I just picked up a 96 2.7 4x4. The CEL is on, the guy I got it from said it was the catalytic converter. Sometimes it bogs down, no power. Think I'll just get my own code reader. Which one you guys recommend and using? Thanks.

    ^ same product I use is works great. if you have an iphone you HAVE to get one with WIFI or it WONT WORK. if you are android though you can use Bluetooth. depending on the app you get you can get some cool features other than code reading

    I have android, so i got one of the cheap-o BT ones on ebay. $9 at the time i think. the clear blue one. there are about 10,000 copies, so i won't post a link, but I've had good luck with mine.

    yes torque is an absolute must.

    I've had good luck with the Panlong version sold by Amazon. I have a couple that I've used on half a dozen different vehicles in conjunction with the Torque app and haven't had any issues
