Need new brake booster

    1.5" lift, ARB bumper
    I have an 07 Tacoma Pre Runner 2wd ABS without the stability control. I was having brake issues and was told by my local shop I needed a new brake booster. They quoted me $1300 on parts and labor. They said its a Toyota specific part but I'm finding them on auto parts store websites. How hard is it to replace and how much should I be spending if a shop does it for me?
