I did the 3k trip from AZ to Wyoming and back on them almost brand new. We hit some hard rain in Wyoming and UT at speed on the Highways and they did well. they did very well on switchbacks on the single and two lane roads also.

    right, like the rugged fails..

one of my selling points on this Focus Titanium was that it had these Xeons. I read up on them as we were making the decision on which model to buy. I was surprised to see such a nice tire on a new Ford. The other Focus we were looking at had a sunroof and GPS with some much cheaper tires and uglier wheels.

Not bad, the ZE950 is the newer version of the older 912.

I know this has been posted in the classifieds so I'll just post this here once...

HARD PLASTIC CASES BOXES - CAMPING / RECOVERY GEAR STORAGE SOLUTIONS....

I have been reaching out TW members to see if anyone would be interested in me "shopping" for them. I have connections with local resources (technology companies, surplus, retail) that provide me opportunities to buy used hard plastic military grade cases (brands listed below) on a pretty regular basis. I figured some TW members might be interested in this and the response has been really good (probably hooked up 6-7 TW members already) so now I'm asking for thoughs of you who are interested to send me their desired specs (preferred brands if any, color, size restrictions, dimensions, wheels or no wheels, foam no foam, and anything else, etc). Once I have enough people who are interested... And have established what you are looking for. I will check out my local resources and see if I can find anything that suites each persons needs. Occasionally I'll buy some simply because they are awesome and too good to pass up. If I have any available I'll let you know via PM.

    I've found the following brands:

-Pelican (1660s, 1650s, and 2975s are popular and easy for me to find)
    -Pelican-Hardigg
-Hardigg (Which are what my personal ones are)
-ECS (harder to find practical sizes)
-SKB (Usually rather expensive, but usually practically new!)

Color wise, most of the cases I find are black or dark army green. Occasionally I'll find grey ones, and rarely do I find tan ones (plus I've been keeping them for myself haha).

I've seen all sorts of sizes/dimensions, so if you want something specific in that regard let me know, but giving me a range is really helpful!

As for pricing... One of the reasons I'm making the list of interested buyers is that often times I can get a good discount on the cases if I buy them in bulk. Usually however, the prices can range from $60-$140 each depending on the case (mainly size dependent). They are also all USED cases but finding functional ones in good condition isn't a problem. Almost all of which are weatherproof and some still have their pressure release valves in working order (which is nice if you are changing elevations often).

Once we have established your desired specs, I'll ask for your contact info for when I go shopping! Looking forward to helping you guys out... So start PMing me...

I am in the market for tent that is a quick setup. I like my Coleman Insta tent, but the joints keep breaking. I have this one right now from Amazon! I have broken 6 joints during 3 different campouts in 6 months. All Coleman wants to do is replace the joints, but that's only going to last so long until the warranty runs out. They are plastic and I can't just keep replacing the joints. Up until now, it's been only me setting it up, and I think this tent needs at least 2 people setting it up. I guess I am venting my frustration right now. I like the tent, except for the the plastic joints and the fact that rain got into the tend one time from the front door that seems to not close all the way.

I also don't want to be throwing money out the door because tents keep breaking, as I eventually want to get an RTT.
