Custom battery tie down for my X2 AGM 27F and Blue Sea 6 space fuse block 2014 TRD OR DCSB

Just sharing my latest addition. Feel free to offer improvement suggestions.

I replaced my OEM battery with an X2 AGM group size 27F. The OEM version is listed as 27F but it's slightly smaller than the 27F specified dimensions. Hence the OEM tie down doesn't fit replacements well and binds because it's only adjustable on the front side.

I mocked this up in CAD and had Heights Metal Works in Houston make me an aluminium tie down plate, tapped to hold my Blue Sea fuse block.

Came out pretty cool. It's simple, a bit ugly and I could probably have trimmed the corners some, but it's a great fit and real sturdy.

 

Cool, thanks. I put the OEM tie down through (under) the X2 battery carry handle with a small 3/4" wood block wedge until I could get this new tie down made.
