Don´t shave it. It appears that you keep it well groomed and that is what matters. The interviewer will be able to tell you freshly shaved and that is a clue that you are not being yourself. You want to walk in being confident and yourself, and that stache is you. I would keep it. Good luck.

Holy shit, so many excellent arguments from both sides of the 'stache. God forbid I have to resort to asking my wife.

I tried to edit my original post to include a poll, but couldn't figure it out.

Wait, it's a supervisory position and you're flip flopping on keeping a power stache?

Step your game up sir! I've gone thru plenty of interviews with facial hair that didn't meet the company policies and still got offered jobs.

Aha! Point taken, mustache dies at dawn on Friday!

Thanks for everyone's advice, I was entertained for the evening.

FWIW I don't agree with shaving it...especially first thing before the interview

Maybe trim the sides up a bit but you'll likely have a funny tan line

Oh, sorry! Accidentally stopped watching my own thread.

Shaved the mustache. Drove 5 hours to interview. Did not get hired.

This is actually a good thing. I have since received a job offer in Arizona for a job I will enjoy more, and for money that puts the state park job to shame.

No mustache drama involved, interview was conducted via telephone!

    Thanks!

I'm glad it worked out for you. If recent experience has taught me anything, when in doubt keep the stache. I recently went from beard to mustache and shortly after receiving a compliment from the boss man was told I'm getting a raise.

You can't come here talking about a STRONG stache and not post a pic.
