So I just need a switch and a fuse and it will work?
    Is it the A Trac?

Wow, is that hiding in all of the TRD-OR's? I have the diff. switch, but no traction control switch. Subbed for more info

I know it wasn't an option with the 1st 2nd gen models (i.e. 2005) but with 2006 you may get lucky. I can't remember the 1st year it was installed pre-wired. Someone will answer soon. In the meantime, maybe check to see what factory options came on the 2006 TRD-OR.

So now I'm wondering what all I'd need to do to get the traction control and if it's already on the truck, minus the switch.

Reminds me of the cabin air filter, when the 05's came out they said there wasn't one. Yet the box is there, just have to slide a filter in.

I was even thinking I could use a factory style switch, and possibly hook up some off road lights if the ECU isn't able to able to use the A-Trac disable switch.

The answer for it's unfortunate fail has been research before. It's a pipe dream to have it work by just adding the switch.

From what I've read, most of the trucks are pre wired for a lot of the options. For instance, my 15' has the wiring for seat heaters behind the blanks, with the exception of power going to them at the box. It's a safe bet that most of the other trucks are wired up to the fuse or relay box, but no power is applied or the associated wiring.
