Did you adjust your rear brakes up manually? Makes a lot of difference if there's too much clearance there.

To have NO brake power as she states can only mean two things, at least in my limited experience. Ridiculous amount of air still trapped in system or fluid leak somewhere, but you should be able to pump the pedal and eventually feel some kind of brake pressure building up. Or a component in the system is failing or not doing it's part. It could be the proportioning valve failing, I guess. Is there a history of the proportioning valve failing in these Tacomas? Man I wish I had an fsm. I need to order one.

Interesting. Well that really only leaves two options; either there is a leak (which you said there isn't) or not all of the air is out.

There's no specific way on the tacos. It's just like any other vehicle:
    • keep the ports closed when the cylinder comes out during bench bleeding of the master cylinder
    • you should start on the cylinder furthest from the master cylinder and work your way closer when bleeding the system
    • keep the reservoir full at all times

Yes the bpv has a bleeder. If its severly rusted it could be hard to tell. But its facing towards the rear.

Bleed it the same way you do your brakes. Either first or after the rear

Does the parking-brake hold the truck on a slope?

What is the history on this truck?

    Just bought it?

Were the brakes working well, until all-of-a-sudden they stopped working?
If so, was any work done right before that?
