Mmmmm. So i just went under the truck. I grabbed the cv axle where it goes into the diff. Theres movement on both sides, but noticeably more on the drivers side. So it this a warranty thing enhanced by my lift. Or did the lift do this all on its own. Also, am i doing much harm driving it, i have a weekend camping trip this weekend. Didn't notice a thing until it was aligned.

The dealer can and probably will say it's due to your lift and deny warranty. The truth of the matter is it's a shitty bearing. There was even a TSB for the gen2s that called out this part. I went to my dealer ready to go to war, but in my case they didn't even question it. As far as doing harm, I don't know of any instances of catastrophic failure of the bearing. In my opinion it's more annoying then anything. although it could be causing premature wear and your cv.

In my case, I'm going with the bushing replacement this go around.

I had this problem after doing a leveling kit on a 2016 SR Access cab. It was so damn annoying. Toyota should really come up with a better part and quit screwing with people and their warranties.
