Hi there. I have a 98 4x2 Extended Cab that is completely stock. I have had it about a year and it's time for tires. I'd like to dump the hub-caps and 14" wheels. I really like the black ProComps with the round hole pattern but the smallest available is 15x7. That's 1.5" wider than the original and I'm worried about tire rub. I'm thinking with the 3.75" back space I should only be adding an inch inside the fender.
This whole thing has made me painfully aware that the truck would look much better level, instead of nose down. So now I'm looking at lifts for the front end. I don't want to 'lift' as much as 'level' so I'm curious about what others have done and how complicated this will be.
I mostly drive this truck to Home Depot and the occasional commute, so simple and affordable (not cheap) recommendations would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Bill
