I also like the cleaner look. Below is what I've done to mine.
    • Debadged Tacoma door emblems
    • Swapped bedside decals for black ones
    • Previous mods: debadged tailgate V6 emblem and dealer decal, add @rrentrop black TACOMA tailgate inserts

Ooooooooooh, that is sexy bitch! Very nice dude! I will be removing all of mine when weather breaks. I am not into emblems or stickers. I am going to heat them up a bit with blow dryer to release the double sided tape.

    Very nice!

If that was to me, thanks!

A blow dryer for a few seconds and some fishing line or floss is all you need. And then some WD-40 and elbow grease if there's any residue left. Only takes a few minutes!

    Thanks!!

Cleaner is nice! And also no streaking down the doors from rain etc from the emblems. I still have bed decals but subtle black. That and my tailgate inserts are all that's left. The V6 and Tacoma emblems are gone! I used always use alcohol but someone mentioned it could damage the paint. I think either way is probably fine! I happened to have WD-40 in the garage and works well without damaging paint

Im going to take mine off tonight i hate being a rolling advertisement and i have always wondered why they spend so much on making a beautiful paint job just to cover it up with a 20$ decal. Agreed the cleaner look is better and i love the look of your truck!

Thanks! They are matte black and they are from eBay, $19.99. https://www.ebay.com/itm/291712188158. They have several different options. Pretty easy to install just have to be careful of bubbles. I may have a few but I'm happy with how it turned out!

I took mine off with a hair dryer and have not regretted it one bit.

Ok so I finally got them all off and I think it looks great. Takes elbow grease is an understatement but doable in a night with heavy latex gloves and a blow dryer

I thought I'd point out how I got the stickers off. I used a twin lamp halogen stand light (as in recreated pic) and left it on the stickered area for maybe 10 minutes or so. I was able to slowly pull the stickers off in one piece once warmed up, with no risk of frying anything with a heat gun or having to hold a constantly waving hair dryer with one hand. Any residue that remained on the truck could easily be removed by wadding up the sticker with the adhesive exposed and pressing it onto the residue on the truck. The residue preferentially stuck to the wadded up sticker. Repeated dabbing of the sticker took it all off with little effort (light still on while doing this). The flash and lamp sort of blew out the photo but you get the point. stickers 01.jpg

IMO stickers are ridiculous on any vehicle, they look tacky & cartoonish. If you need a decal to remind yourself or to show others what model ya got then you got issues that need worked out.
Once again just my opinion...not hating just saying...

I took mine off and the stupid pinstripes the dealer put on. I like it much better now.
