sure! but my terms would violate the forum rules.

btw, i thought alberta was the canadian home of $100k + F350's and such? why is $45k a lot for a top of line rig?

And Toyota Care is free with any purchase of a new Toyota. You do not need to pay for it. It is free anywhere in the US, Canada and Mexico. 2yrs or 25k of free service, and 2yrs free/ unlimited mileage of roadside assistance.

That's what two of my local dealers and my third party leasing agent told me also and they want my FJ bad. When I look at those hokey dealer installed options I smell BS somewhere.

I can't believe this thing is running the same price of a Tundra Pro. Love them both but side by side for equal money I would have to go Tundra.

We all guessed it would. Toyota thinks more highly of their Tacomas then they do of their Tundras at the end of the day. Look at what model brings in the sales at the end of the year.

A lot of you have been criticizing the OP on the $46,000 price tag. It's the truck the OP wanted. Stop making him feel bad for spending that much. Realistically $46,000 isn't bad at all compared to the prices of all the SUVs we see everyday.

I paid 46500 for my GMC sierra Denali with AWD and 6.2L motor. That was in 2011 though. It was a beautiful truck but averaged sub 10mpg around town

That Toyota Platinum protection plan is also negotiable. The money guy started to try and sell it to me for $1700. I got it for $1000 and should have played it harder since he didn't flinch.
The main reason I got it was with the 2016 being a first year build and the fact that most of the Tacomas were showing up with low transmission fluid (mine was 1.5 qrts low), it was worth the 100,000 mile warranty at that point.

Not criticizing at all, If its the truck he wants then buy it. I was just stating my own opinion between the two trucks. They both have their advantages and for what OP stated he would use his for, it makes all the since that we would go with the smaller Tacoma over a big heavy Tundra. Like I said I love them both and actually own one of each,(Not Pro's of course).

Its a bargain comparing to the $44k Honda wants for their Ridgeline Black Edition. Here you have a daily driver you can go extreme offroading and still be able to tow 6k lbs.

I don't think anyone is ragging on him - it's his money and his business. Someone might rag on me for spending $3.50 on a coffee when I can get one at 7/11 for 99 cents. No big deal.

I wash shocked though when I did the CDN conversion (assuming they sold the TRD Pro up here) - it would cost around $70K taxes and fees in.
