I've been searching around for some clues on what this might be but I can't seem to find anything that lines up with what I'm seeing.

I started randomly have very bad vibration, it shakes the whole truck, its visibly seen in the steering wheel and can be felt through the brake pedal. When I say random sometimes it wont happen for weeks at a time and sometimes it happens a few days in a row. It always starts on the highway when I'm driving around 60+, it just comes on and starts shaking. It doesn't stop until I get off the highway and come to a compete stop.

    My truck:
    08 DC Sport - 128K
3" OME lift with Dakar springs - Installed at 100K
    Stock wheels and 255/75/17 Duratrac's

    - I'm going in on Tuesday to have the wheels re-balanced and a new alignment done.
    - I took a look at my front brakes and all seems good, little extra wear on one of the driver side pads but nothing alarming
    - I didn't install the carrier bearing drop kit when I did the lift

My fear is its drive line or drive line angles, but I also think it would be more consistent if this was the case. Could it possibly be a bad U joint?

Thanks for any and all help!

I would suspect a u-joint and or center bearing. I had a front ujoint blow out and cause all kinds of damage. I didnt notice any squeaks just vibration.

I have the truck at the dealership right now. Getting another alignment and wheel balance done, going to have them check the U-joints while its here. I'll be stoked if its just the u-joints, cheap and pretty easy to replace.

Nothing came out of the dealership, they looked at everything and said everything was great. Got another alignment and re balanced all of the tires and I'm still having the issue. I'm not sure where to go from here. I think my next step is going to be to order the carrier bearing drop kit from wheelers and see if that helps.

Carrier Bearing drop kit installed today. We'll see if that helps at all!
