I got my OME lift today from Headstrong. I got the 887's on 90021's for the front and Dakars/90021's for the back. Now the question.....For those that have the same setup, did you remove the 3rd leaf from the Dakars? I'm trying to get it as level as possible, so before I install everything I would like to know if I need to remove the 3rd leaf. Thanks in advance

I did not. She's pretty tall in the back, but I kinda like it. There is a small rake with the 3rd leaf in there. might be level if you take it out.

Here is my truck with Unmodified dakars, 887's, left trim packer, and top plate spacers. Rear is ~1" higher than the front. I prefer this over Cali lean

Thanks guys! Hopefully someone has some pics with the 3rd leaf removed too. I definitely don't want the Cali lean!

I had that same set up in my 2014. You'll have to give it like a week +\- for it to settle. Once its settle you you'll be pretty leveled.

Rides fine to me. Better than stock TRDOR suspension from what I remember.

Yes, SPC/light racing arms. You'd never get the alignment close or enough travel out of stock ones.

Answered my question for me without even having to ask. I assumed you would need new UCAs with this lift but wasn't 100% sure. Guess I'll be saving my pennies for a little longer.

hmm that's something to think about. May have to check around and see what I can find. Not really looking forward to spending $500+ on some UCAs. Puts a nice dent in the budget. Needs to be done right so I don't mind saving but something to consider.

I too like the 1" rake to the front. Dead level is also ok. Not a huge fan of the bro lean unless you've got a full on desert racer..

I'm as far as I'm comfortable pushing the front. Both control arms and CV axles are maxed out at full droop. Brake lines are also maxed out. Next step will be long travel, but that's not going to be anytime soon.

Thanks for all of your input. I left the 3rd leaf in! Rides like a dream. No clanking, banging, etc. Couldn't be happier.
    887's and Dakars.

Mine was a little taller in the back, put 1/4 inch spacers in the front and it leveled it out. Also, the little cup/bowl things that the font coils sit it were installed upside down the first time the shop installed it. Flipping them the right direction and adding the spacers made it level. I'll attach pics of the before/wrong way the coil seats were in. image.jpg
