    Hello Tacoma World!

I am the proud new owner of a 2016 DCSB Tacoma, Quicksand color! (Much nicer color in person than photos do it justice). I as I do with most purchases did as much research and such on my own here and everywhere on some ideas I intend to implement on my truck. This will my first time actually modding a truck to get some real off road enjoyment out of it. (Used to play around in a GMC Canyon, but never invested too much into it other then solid tires)

So I have a few questions for people with, clearly far more experience then me.

Before I express what I am interested in doing and if it is a good idea here is some background on my lifestyle/intentions.

    1) This Tacoma is for work and play. It is and will be my daily driver as well as my go off the beaten path and enjoy the great outdoors.

    2) I am interested in lifting it, at least 2 inches, no more than 3 (partly will be suggestions people poll on here based on) for under-body clearance mostly, not for larger tires per say (I am aware tires are where you get solid clearance from overall, but it will be my daily driver and I am hoping competent tires in OEM size will suit my needs or a reasonable size that won't trash the transmission too hard by being too large)

    3) I love blasting through snow, mud, rough paths, given its my daily driver I do not intend on hardcore rock climbing, though rocky, uneven, mild drops, need some clearance paths are what I would be looking to get into at most

    4) I plan to add things like rock sliders (for peace of mind) under-body armor, winch etc. But in regards to under-body armor, are there recommended "Must haves" in terms of protecting my vehicle. If all is all then so be it, but rear diff, tranny etc. at least in my mind seem like must have plating.

    5) I narrowed down to either Icon (No more then a stage 4) or Toy Tec Boss Ultiamte Suspension. Let me say at the outset, I do not just want to add blocks are spacers. I want to get a strong, durable, reliable system and I fully intend on upgrading components, not just simply add a few pieces for the effect. It is my daily driver too so I wish to invest in it.

Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated or things I have overlooked!
