Does anyone know where I can get the mounting hardware for an OEM Skid Plate? A friend of mine put a bull bar on his truck and gave me his old skip plate. During some moving he lost the mounting hardware. All I have are the spacers. I called the dealership and they don't sell the hardware separately. They said that if I wanted the hardware I would have to buy the skid plate as well.

If I can't buy the actual bolts from the kit does anyone know the dimensions of the bolts etc.. Thanks everyone.

Don't know off the top of my head, but they're just metric bolts that your local hardware store should have. If nobody else rings in with the sizes I'll measure them tomorrow. FWIW... I had to trim the spacers on mine a bit to close up the gap between the plate and bumper. It was about 1 1/4" to start with.

I would check on the following sites for the nuts/bolts and whatever else might be needed:

    http://www.partsouq.com - provide VIN

http://villagetoyotaparts.com - scroll down to "parts we sell" - select model/yr.

Once you have the part number, you can either buy from one of the many online sellers or source locally.

I just looked... They're the same metric bolts as the ones that hold the splash pan on there now, except that the front 2 are ~25mm longer to allow for the thickness of the pan and spacers. IIRC, you use the existing rear 2, but just loosen them enough that you can slide the rear slots in the pan over them. Just let it hang there while you install the longer front bolts. The existing splash pan catches on some hooks in front, so it'll stay where it belongs while you do this. I think the instructions that came with it spec'd the gap between the pan and the bumper to be about 1/2" measured in the center, and even at the outer corners.
