Don't get me wrong there might be some spots open some cancellations or what not but according to the website and according to the range or whoever was in the booth that I talk to you there are no spots available in the camp sites for next weekend

 

For the campsite area this is not first come first serve this is a reservation area

As long as everyone is paid up by now through the reserveamerica site (only site you can book spots in as far as I know) then we should be okay. I just checked it and yes, there are no available spots left to reserve

 

Yep, campsites for Sat night are now sold out. There are some available for Friday night.

 

Technically, according to the site you can have up to 8 people on one reservation, so if anyone that wants to go and hasn't paid yet just tags along with someone who has and tosses them a few bucks, I don't see why that couldn't work.

 

I think you would have to pay more. I believe that you have to pay per vehicle right?

 

Oh that's kind of lame. How much do you have to pay do you have to pay the $10 or is it to Camping America and have to pay the $54. And for one night that's super lame so pick up camp the next night and go somewhere else nah bro I think I will just find a campsite somewhere else.

 

From my understanding we are reserved for the first come first served open camping area on the beach. Not the reserved camping spaces. We should be able to stake our spot once we arrive. I doubt the whole beach camping area will be taken by Friday mid-day.

 

I just remember that on the site when booking, it referenced something about paying per vehicle. I could be wrong tho. But my guess is that it would be the same amount per vehicle.

No... Haven't had time to clean it yet.

 

My concern is how crowded it'll get now that it's booked up lol, hope there's plenty of space to wheel.

We'll all probably be squeaking from all the sand after this trip lol

So it sounds like @TXpro4X4 can tag along on someone's campsite just he'll have to pay x vehicle fee

 

I dont know if it works like that. 1 vehicle equals 1 campsite pass. Another vehicle would need its own pass to camp. But theyre sold out now....
