    We use couriers to ship engineering/environmental samples at work, all of them have newer 4-cly tacomas and run them at least two full work shifts, around 125k-150k miles/year.

    They sell them around 350k-400k miles, only motor "issue" tends to be a slightly noisy timing chain and fairly slight oil consumption as a result of worn valve guides.

    Yes I'm looking forward to the utility package it's a great value and the kind of truck that put toyota on the map , It's the closest you can get to buying a brand-new 85 Toyota extra cab. I get the super dependable four cylinder in a 4 x 4 Toyota for around 25K. Imho its the perfect Toyota pick up. If I was going to spend 41K on a pickup I would look at some other choices with more power and more capacity.
