Right on Brother, I'm not mad at ya! Great company and great part. I appreciate you chiming in. Sorry if I came off as defensive, I was just trying to imply that your discount may not be the norm for someone else. As you stated correctly, different shipping charges to different locations.

Please remember too, one of my coilovers is Brand new same as yours, the other is reassembled with a brand new strut and I have brand new relocation brackets as well as two spanner wrenches. Any way you slice it, buyer will save over $200.00 dollars plus~ Enjoy the coilovers bro!

Well as someone who has had the full OME lift, I would say the main difference as stated by myself and others regarding these two scenarios comes down to adjustability. The Toytec will allow for infinite adjustability anywhere up to 3". With OME , once you select the coil- what you get is what you get, done deal.

I have a set of OME for sale as well but I would say its a no brainer for the Toytec coilovers. Your mileage may vary but that's my experience.

I hope they are at least equivalent to the ride of OME that everyone seems to rant and rave about. Everyone talks about how the billis are stiff in the OME coils compared to nitro's but nobody compares the amazing ome ride to the ride of toytec with billis. Just bitching that it's more expensive. The worst I read is that they are over priced billi's. I disagree however. I think those people are just cheap. The fact they are assembled and I can maybe recoup some cash for my fully assembled stock struts makes it more appealing. I plan to adjust front height because I can't afford UCA's. That is more $ in my pocket down the road.

So it will be a moderate 2" lift at first. And with the bags filled in the back everything will still look normal. And out the door I'm looking at $740 (traded $150 in labor for the bags). And I feel that it's unique compared to most.

Since I couldn't find front OME struts/coils for sale separate, here is some basic math: (I know this may not reflect the cheapest prices available, this is toyteclifts pricing w/ estimated shipping).

OME full kit with 886's ($950 assembled)
Minus AAL and rear shocks ($300)
$650 assembled for the front OME.

So $650 vs $590. And I happen to like the red color very much.

Alright... I finally talked myself into it.

What can I do to ensure a safe transaction? I'm assuming paypal doesn't cover me if I'm working around their fees by gifting money.
What is the standard procedure for something like this. I am new here. Do you guys use escrow or am I just suppose to have faith in a fellow Taco owner?

As to Paypal, I just PM'd you the info/ You can send funds via paypal for goods but you will have to pay for the fees which are like 3 1/2% Its up to you, I have had several deals on here and have had no issues. Buy and sell. I just sold some wet okoles and the buyer received tonight and was quite happy.

As to the OME. The add is up on the buy sell forum price is $350.00 for fully assembled front struts plus shipping.

I really like mine this is my 2nd set and installed a dozen more. I do 90% paved road driving and this setup is perfect. Mine has been on 8 years 100k or less never a problem. Your not jumping ur truck so no resi's for you, they only cool a lil quicker.

Corey and all others who gave their opinions and experiences Thank you. That's the value of this Network, who better to ask about a lift but those who actually have them on the vehicles.

    Thank you brothers!!

Nice! These make for a sweet setup without going all out for the higher end resi type units that the casual off-roader would never need. I think you'll be very happy with your purchase, 3points.
