Hello I am a new member I would like to say regards to all the members.

Now let's cut to the chase. I took my 2016 tacoma trd 4x4 to the service dept in the dealership I bought it because I felt something wrong with the down shifting of the truck when I let the gas go.
They told me some new update software available to correct the problem they programed the update but now if feel the truck not as fast as it was before nor those it have the same pick up when I gun it.
To say even more I just took a ride to really test it bacause I was with my daughter and she asked me to step on it and I did, she told me dad it does'nt feel the same, she is eleven now. So like I was saying I went on my own to try it out. I floored it and it did not pass 105 mph and before I would hit 100 in no time, also the truck would jump whenever I floored it.
I'm feeling very upset because it feels like crap. I hope they can fix it or I will sale it. It only has 2000 miles.
I woul appreciate any info about this problem.
    Thank you guys.

    I can totally relate, man.

An ex girlfriend of mine once looked me in the eye and said "it doesn't feel the same". It was that very moment I realized that we would never use condoms again.

There isn't a speed limit in the US that's 105. Please don't drive on public roads at that speed.

With the TSB they probably reset the ¨learning¨ which may or may not have something to do with it. Take it back and ask the tech about it.

He said he took it out by himself after he was with his daughter

He was alone when doing over 100 mph.

Guess I skimmed that post too quickly. However, I can't think of a reason to ever take my truck up to 100. Been there in my vette, but I was only 15 above the speed limit and the road was clear with a full 2 mile visibility. Austin Autobahn.

Hi Jorge. Many of us have been reporting problems with these trucks. You are not alone. Don't let the knuckledragger loyalists scare you off. Please let us know what you find out after taking back to dealer. Also I'd suggest opening a case with Toyota Corporate. Let them know you're not happy.
