Woohoo! This means the Dakar packs will lift me another 1.5 inches over the blocks that I have now

Probably but every leaf pack varies with the lift. The numbers posted is just an average lift achieved

2010 DCSB with ARE shell, rubber bed mat, Hi-Lift and other recovery gear - estimated weight in bed ~225 lbs. Dakar springs installed along with Stage 4 Icon kit.

Before install (stock leaf springs were shot!):
    Drivers side: 20 5/8"
    Passenger side: 20 1/4"

    After install and break-in:
    Drivers side: 24"
    Passenger side: 24 1/2"

Ride is buttery soft. Loaded up with a total of ~550 lbs in bed and cab the rear ride height is 23 1/2". I'll probably try an OME AAL for a bit more height and load carrying capacity. Hopefully the ride when unloaded won't be too harsh.

    + is slightly over spec
    0 is on spec
    - is slightly under spec

If you get a mixed set , put the "higher" spec one on the driver side to help with taco lean

Thank you! I am about to go look and see on my lunch break.

    *Edit
Looks like the drivers side leaf is the one with the +. So I am good to go.
    Thank you! @OZ-T

Installed Dakars tonight, top overload removed. Hoping to put the 884s on tomorrow. 21 5/8 on each side in the rear before install. 24.5 after install. Hoping they settle or I may have to pull the third leaf too. 2 7/8 is more than I wanted, was hoping for 2".

^^They will, I did the same thing. pulled the top overload out. then after they settled I put it back in because my truck wouls squat more than I wanted when hauling 2-300 pounds.

    23" (23.5" right after install.)
    Top overload leaf removed.
3 leafs drilled for anti-squeak pucks.

DCSB OR with shell, bed platform, sliders, bajarack and some other weight in the front.

A little of this and a little of that.
I just finished the OME lift install, 885's & Dakars. 2011 DCSB 4WD. Truck has 35K miles and had the 3 leaf non SB factory rear springs.

    Before lift measurements:
    LF-20"
    RF-20.5"
    LR-21.5"
    RR-21.5"

    After lift measurements:
    LF-22 1/4"
    RF-22 3/4"
    LR-25 1/4"
    RR-25 1/4"

I didn't remove any of the leafs. The whole Dakar leaf pack is installed.

    That's 3 3/4" lift in the rear. I'm sure it'll settle some after driving/loading.

Both Dakar leaf packs were marked "-". I was happy with them both the same "spec".

Can anyone comment on how the ride and load carrying abilities of the Dakar w/3rd leaf removed compare to stock? Still a big improvement even with 3rd leaf removed?
