I hunt the meat section at trader joes... Been pretty successful too....jk.

I've hunted a zone every year since 2010. I haven't killed a buck yet!! I see them all the time in the off season then the once the season opens they're nowhere to be found.

I'm up for a new place this season. I got an a zone tag and a b zone tag.

wow..amazing what threads you find if you get out of the "regular" forums.

i am a hunter. mostly bowhunting these days to make it more challenging. but how challenging it is; can be really discouraging. i finally drew a tag in A16 (x9a for you rifle hunters) and killed a buck!! took me 7 years to get it done. i did just buy 3 boxes of fresh ammo, so rifle days are coming back

i moved 90% closer to Lake Sonoma so now i am gonna hit that place hard. i set up game cams every year and can find them. i have yet to kill one. i kid you not, every time i take a new guy to LS, he gets one!! or at least fires an arrow at one. driving 2.25 hours each way to the lake sucks..and makes getting there difficult.

last year, pulling my game cameras out, i climbed a super steep grass hill and found a stamped down, pig stinking, wet, nasty..hole in the property fence. my first camera goes there this year.

i live in Santa Rosa now..i am down to meet new hunters.

i am 80% further than my turkey spot..so i could use a partner to split fuel. hahah.. you cant be a dick tho..that turkey blind is "muy perquito".

So, any TW interested in taking to Vet's buck hunting this month? My buddy bailed on us and wonder anyone with experience in buck hunting show two vet's a good area to hunt in up north? It's archery season, so most likely be using that.

I think B zone archery is going right now. There are some good areas up by Lake Pillsberry. But you have to get your tags now B zone sells out quick.
