You seem really bent out of shape about how I spend money. I didn't ask your permission. I merely provided a reason that several other people are probably using for trading.

You are correct if toyota didn't make corrections for the 2017 then people who waited for the 2017 got screwed.

I'll do what I want and what I believe is best for me. Thank you for your concern. No I don't give a damn what anybody else thinks if I'm happy with the product that's on me

Since you're new maybe you haven't figured out how to use the ignore feature. If my opinions bother you so much, try to figure out how to use that feature. I don't think it's your duty to defend Toyota to the death. If you're happy with your truck great. Just like you said Life's Too Short just ignore me if you're not happy with what I'm typing.

I like my Tacoma a lot, but I admit that it has its issues. My hope that all of my issues are software related!

People keep asking for more and More features. Then they bitch when the price goes up.

Example. People want all the options on the PRO, and bitch it's 43k+

Ok, the '16 is a great truck, PERIOD.

    1. The transmission issue was concerning at first. Then you get to about 1200 miles and it really begins to learn your driving style. It basically all but disappears at 2k. Still a little too eager to upshift on an uphill but not the end of the world. More gears= more shifting. Think about it...but not too long.

    2. Cruise Control downshifting and sticking in 4th gear is annoying. However, I can rarely use it anyway as nobody on the road seems to understand how to maintain a constant speed themselves or there is just too much traffic to use it. Maybe i'll have the TSB done on at the 5k service if i remember.

    3. The A/C dripping onto the frame. Holy Hannah! Whats going to happen if it rains and the frame gets wet??? Really guys? Non issue.

    4. The howling kinda reminds of Airwolf. As i drive down the crowded highway, i pretend to be Stringfellow Hawke (Jan Michael Vincent) piloting Airwolf, strafing the slow mofos in the left lane and launching a missile at the a-hole weaving in and out of traffic. Children of the '80s, you know the show.

If you like your truck you don't have to put a bag over your face.

Have the TSB done without fail. Makes a world of difference. Plugs in your LCA and no more airwolf sounds.

Yes we have a SR5 premium 2016. Beautiful vehicle. A tad dated interior compared to my tacoma is the gal's only complaint.

I offered my wife highlander but after taking closer look at it, I would rather keep my 4Runner with outdated interior. :D

People like Smitty and Blue-T keep things interesting. Seems like honest opinions most of the time. I get tired of hearing people pump sunshine up each others butts. It is nice to hear the good, bad, and ugly. Keep the pot stirring Smitty, its entertaining, why else would so many be viewing this thread?? :boink:

I'm sure my wife would like it too but it's to low compared to my lifted 4Runner with 285s. Plus it doesn't have that much more room.:anonymous:

I haven't seen Blue T here in a long time. Smitty are you the real Blue T. in disguise. If so stand up.
