Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to get a smoother ride and tighter steering out of my 03 Tacoma with 250k miles?

    ...we'll get there.
Are you looking for beyond stock performance? Soft ride and tight steering can be opposite goals.

Check your tire pressure. If you are running with stock tire sizes and are over the stock PSI (see door jamb drivers side), you are going to feel every bump in the road.

Ok 250,000 miles just what has not been replaced .

At over 200,000 miles I redid all the front suspension and steering parts and linkage.

    Good Front end alignment

The steering is tight vehicle tracks good.

    I can`t help with the smooth ride I drive a Truck .

Going to the 4Runner it takes me some time to get used to the soft suspension I think something is broken.

Just wondering, when you mean a tighter steering, do you mean like there's a lot of play in the steering wheel? Tacomas are known to have/get some slop in the steering shaft (slip shaft). I'm soon going to do the steering shaft tack weld to tighten up my steering wheel play

Thank you all for the info. I just got the Tacoma as my drive around vehicle and did not know what I am experiencing is likely normal. That's why I asked the pros. Thanks.
