I've gotten some great advice from the forum, thought it was time for me to join and share what I've learned.

    2001 Toyota Tacoma 3.4L V-6 TRD.

186,xxx just did the 2nd timing belt, had a friend make the tool to hold the crankshaft pulley still, if your near colorado springs and want to use it, give me a shout.

I still have all original U joints, they seem fine, I'm about to replace the carrier bearing, has anyone had U joints last that long? should I be concerned?

    Thanks,

    Rob

    Welcome to TW.

I'd take you up on your offer if you were in TN, I need to do the timing belt and all that soon.

If you're concerned about the U joints I'd just replace em. I'm sure others will chime in about it.
