I just wish I could buy a silver Limited with a black or charcoal interior. I would buy a TRD Pro if it came in silver. I am not a fan of cement. I could probably live with white. But they are really too expensive.

Why do you want a limited if I may ask?

That's a multi-faceted answer. What I really want is an SR5 with a moonroof. But, you can only get the moonroof in the Sport, OR and LTD. I don't like the looks of the OR and don't need a rear locker so I exclude it.

That leaves the Sport and the LTD. A Sport with the non JBL Prem and Tech package, and tow would certainly do me just fine, but try and find that without the tonneau cover and all the other bullshit the Gulf State Regions adds. It's a freaking unicorn I'd have to order.

Meanwhile LTD's are sitting on lots all over the place gathering dust with advertised discounts of 2-3k. Which means I might be able to score one for a lot less.

That and I prefer the ride and looks of the LTD over the Sport.

Fair enough! I'm from Canada so my options were quite different up here. I would have loved to get the JBL added to my sport but that was the only thing lacking between for me- it's not an option for any other package aside from limited here. It saved me about 3.5k to get the sport upgrade and add aftermarket leather. I didn't want all the chrome and really wanted the hood scoop so it made sense for me. Hopefully you find a truck soon!

I wanted a fully loaded 4x4 with leather and is the only reason I went with the Limited. If I could have had a TRD OR with leather I would have gotten it since I could have had a manual transmission. Unfortunately, that wasn't a possibility and the Limited was the only one with leather and fully loaded without a rear locker (don't need one, just need 4 wheel drive). I could very well have gotten custom leather installed but I do not like messing with my vehicle beyond tint and some exterior things like the front grill and back letter inserts.

You wouldn't know the katskinz leather is not stock, also came with warranty. Highly recommend looking into it in the future.

No idea why Toyota continues to pigeonhole you into a specific trim for a certain feature. The most expensive trim should have everything fully loaded stock and offer a manual transmission.

    Not enough...
+1 for Katzkin. Have it on my '14 with heated seats too. Was the first mod I did. 2 years later still looks great. You can't even tell its not OEM. And leather is much higher quality than what you would get on a Limited
