Still experiencing transmission shuttering and flare during shifting. Had TSB done. Has anyone had theirs to flare and shutter after TSB done, then confirmed by dealership and what was the fix. It is still happening when it is cold. Was it low transmission fluid causing the shuttering and flaring?

There are quite a few threads already discussing this so prepare to be flamed by other members. But in my experience the TSB has mostly helped. I am getting a shift flare between 2nd and 3rd or maybe it's between 3rd and 4th I can't be sure. It is troubling but overall the truck is driving better

What does your dealer say...I would let them look at it again...it is under warranty...could be low if they haven't checked it

I took it in to the dealership, we rode around for almost an hour and it didn't do it. He is going to come to my house when the temperature changes, plug the laptop in and do more test driving. He assured me the transmission fluid is full without manually checking. I am going to carry it to another dealership and pay out of pocket to have it checked.

Wow bold claim by dealer. He simply does not KNOW this for a fact without actually checking the fluid level manually. I wouldn't take no for an answer. Go somewhere else and resist the urge to pay. I regret that I offered to pay to get mine checked. Dealer needs to perform this task quite simply.

I concur but I want it checked for peace of mind and a paper trail.

OP, just FYI, the TSB was not declared/intended to address any flare issues. Just the 3 items stated on the TSB.

You don't have to pay for any fluid lvs according to the warranty, Toyota is responsible for all fluid levels during your warranty. If they say it's ok and is documented then you're covered.
You don't state how many miles you have on your vehicle, but it is adoptive learning so you need to put some miles to teach it.
Mine took 1800 to make all major adjustments and is now smooth as silk.

    Hope that helps
    Cheers!
