I purchased some switchback led's for my front turn signals on ebay. I got them when they were still under $30. Now they are higher. They have lasted 2 years with no problems.
I wanted this look but the one's CSjumper sells do NOT work this way according to what I was told. I do have load resisters installed and they only get used or HOT when the turn signal (amber) is on - so it's good!

The only problem is that I did a modification under/behind the steering column that disables the DRL's. The DRL's only come on when I turn the turn signal stem on column to the first position or the next when obviously headlights are on. The post that showed me how to do this - I cannot find it on the forums. Sorry!! *maybe someone can find and post it here??

I recently made a video that shows you my setup. Let me know what you think. I can try to answer questions if needed

Can you please give a detailed explanation on what mod u did under the steering wheel to have white DRLs? Had my switchbacks for 3 months and still couldn't figure it out. Thanks.

As I mentioned above - I can no longer find the post that shows us how to DISABLE the drl's behind the steering column. Not sure where it is or what to search for. I saw the post 2 years ago and could not find it when I recently did a search for it.
What switchbacks do you have or where did you get them? I was hoping someone may know where the post is to disable the drl's. It's really only 1 wire located in a box behind the steering column, but until someone finds this old post - I can't help.
I went ahead and took a look at what I did. The wire harness is white plastic and is located almost directly above the ODB II connector on left side of steering column.
The wire I cut in half and used electrical tape (red color) to cover both "cut" ends is green with a red stripe. I have a 2012 Tacoma double cab. I don't know how this looks or works with other models/years. The other 2 wires on this harness are blue (i think) and yellow.

Here is a pic - sorry not too clear.
