    Hi TW,

I bought a pair of retofit headlights that uses the fxr stage 1 kit.

I had installed the wiring on the driver side reversed (ballast to High, High to Ballast) When I turned on the lights the low beams did not work for driver or passenger light, when I switched to high beams both lights came on.

I turned off the lights and corrected my mistake. Now when I turn on the headlights only the driver side works (high and low). However, the passenger is dead. Did I blow the relay, ballast, bulbs on the passenger side by having the wires plugged in reverse on the driver side?

    Thanks,
    Alvin

Well, luckily I didn't blow the bulbs or ballast. I was able to hook up the passenger side light to the driver side wiring to determine if any of those components we bad. Lit up with no issues in low or high beam. So I'm thinking it is either the voltage from the car not being 12v so it is not able to fire up the passenger side or that I got a blown Motocontrol. Anyone with recommendations or faced a similar issue?

check to make sure you didnt bend any of the leads, since it was originally hooked up backwards, you may have bent a lead and that would keep it from connecting properly

Also, confirm good ground on failing side. Good luck!
