I bought a 16 Tacoma TRD Off road last night. My truck salesperson is an owner and recommended me to get on Tacoma forums. Here is where I ended up. Hello everyone.

Welcome to TW. You picked the most active and the best forum for our trucks.

Advice would be to get the transmission fluid checked and to have the TSB done.

Thank you. Only have 170 miles on it. When should I do this?

As soon as possible. There's been tons of reports of low transmission fluid, so the sooner you can get that checked, the better. The TSB should also make the auto tranny feel a lot better with better shift points.

Excellent choice. Have one just like it!

About the transmission, it is adaptive or learns your driving style. Shifting improves at around 1200 miles. Don't be scared off by all the Debbie downers. It is a great truck. Did you get the JBL?

Just to clarify, I'm not being a Debbie downer. The TSB is a real thing and should be preformed ASAP along with the fluid check.
