I had sway a ways on my 1st gen and they clunked real bad off-road( set at 3inch) and now I have Fox coil overs with reservoirs on my 2nd gen (2006 SR5) set at 3 inch and they clunk all the time. On road is not an issue, but off-road it is horrible. I also have TC UCA also. everything is tight, ball joints etc and no sway bar. Hub to bottom fender is 23". Is there a better coil over that does not clunck? might need limit straps? any suggestion's or comments?

What is the best offroad coil over for my truck. I off-road daily in the Colorado Mtn's.

I have camburg UCA's with fox 2.5 r/r in the front and have zero clunk.. From what I've read it can be any variety of things from bushings, lack of lubrication or wrong specs on torque. i would start there if you haven't done so already.

I'm sure someone else with more experience will chime in with more specifics.

I have checked torque on everything, I do lube my uni-balls about twice a month with some white lithium grease spray. It almost sounds like the coil overs are topping out so maybe some limit straps are in order but with just a three inch lift I cant imagine they would top out this bad. The truck does have 161K on the clock so my guess lower ball joints and inner and outer tie rods are probably due. Maybe the shocks are not extended length? I don't know but it pisses me off to the point I am bout to hack off the IFS and go solid axle.

    Thanks
