No Longer Needed

Good idea. I was behind someone yesterday and they were a perfect mirror for my truck, did not like the yellow OEM headlight color against the pure, unadulterated LED white that was reflecting back at me. Some retrofits are getting easier to justify now that I have these.

 

Have you paired these with Cali Raised pods yet, or any LED fogs?

^^THIS. I have to have consistent lighting with the exception of the amber DTRL's.

 

Patience my friend...I ordered the LED fogs on Monday. Pics will follow once they are installed.

Here's some updated pics of the finished product more than overwhelmed on how they look. Already breaking necks and getting lots of good comments about the fogs. Also ran the anytime fog light mod. Can't beat the quality @MojaveMadman put into these!

No time to mess with it until the weekend, but they will be going on Saturday morning!

 

Purchased on Friday, installed on Monday.

 

For those that have done anything on a vehicle before, this is a 15 minute install from unpackaged to mount. Longest part is wiring the pnp connectors to the lights.

Impulse purchased on wednesday night, at the house monday morning. 18W white pods. Easy install as stated before, I took the extra time to solder & heat shrink the plug n play connector on for neatness. I'm happy with the purchase. The lights widen your light beam significantly, great for seeing deer poking their head out of the brush on dark roads. the only thing I noticed is that i couldnt get my one pod to snug up in the mount. Its tight enough that its not flopping up and down but i can move it with my hand, I was afraid to tighten it more and break the bolt. otherwise no issues.

Thank you for all the pics and input! Don't be afraid to add a little more torque. They include stainless steel hardware and you will probably strip the included allen wrench before breaking the bolt.
