    Anyone have issues with dry flaky beard? I know I cant be the only one LOL. I use beard oil and some kind of balm w/ conditioner that seems like lotion, but that doesn't seem to help.

    Shampoo I use in my hair is what my beard sees ;), I also cover it with the shaving cream I use for keeping my neck and cheeks clean..........Beard has been off 4 times in 38 years and only for days at a time......Wait till you start looking like Santa,white hair does what it wants o_O

    My Norelco trimmer set at 7 keeps my GM and Service boss from b!@#ching as they can not understand how I survive in Florida .......easier than shaving twice a day :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    I trim up when my kid (33) tells me I'm looking shaggy. Usually every 3 weeks or so. A good set of clippers, #2 on the beard, #1 on whats not extra forehead (not much). Can't imagine paying someone to cut what takes me 5 minutes to clean up. Have had a beard for 40+ years, red to white now. Too many facial moles and too lazy to shave regularly. I bet bitched at about spikey kisses, but I say it's better than sandpaper face. An amicable standoff.

    I used to do the same, and hated the result. I most definitely have to shave in front of a mirror now.
