    I would do the following:
-Try disconnecting and reconnecting the battery as I said earlier in the thread.
-Re check the fuses as stated earlier in this thread. Ive seen a few of these main fuses blow when someone tried to jump start a card with the jumper cables on the wrong polarity.
-Get the battery tested for voltage and amps.

Voltage will drop under spec if there aren't sufficient amps. If he checks voltage while someone tries to crank.

Rudememtary diagnosis with minimal tools. Obviously if OP has access to amperage clamps, and a capacitance tester that would be better

Thank you. I've done it all but test the battery. Will be doing that tomorrow

    SOLVED:

First, thank you all for your help last night. It really helped me tackle this problem.

So I got myself a multi-meter and tested the battery unplugged from the truck, which yielded 12.61V. OK so it's fully charged, but doesn't tell me if a cell is bad. So I hooked the battery back up to the truck and tried a load test with the multi-meter. didn't even have to try starting it because just the dome lights brought it down to ~6V! This was fantastic news. Picked up a new battery and we're up and running! :benchpress:

Indeed! 2 foot breaker bar is a pretty decent conductor

Absolutely. I've been frustrated when there's a thread on an issue I'm experiencing and it ends with no documentation of a solution :annoyed:
