Trade in your truck, stop complaining here, buy something else, then come back here and make a thread to justify your purchase.

    Hurry up

Thanks, I got quite a few compliments on it over the years. I told a friend to get it now that I no longer have it.
The Tacoma will be getting TACO. Unfortunately I only have an SR5, so I have no power outlet in my bed that I can(n't) use to power a lamp to illuminate the rear of the truck to show off the previously mentioned license plate that I will be getting.

Off topic I know, but this thread already seems to be dead. I was going to get TACO on mine, but it was already taken somewhere. I got one of those "specialty" plates where I can only fit 5, maybe 4, characters on it so I was limited.

I put it back on track with the last message... You just got it back off topic again.

Plug your laptop into the power outlet in the bed and read all the new nonsense we talk about!

YOU CAN ACTUALLY POWER A LAPTOP!

    True story:
We had a power outage at the dealership I work for, but the phone systems still worked, so we were receiving calls in the parts department. Instead of saying we couldn't look things up, we actually pulled two tacomas around and ran extension cords from the bed to power laptops in the office. They did cash sales and were able to be open for business because of two Tacoma bed outlets.
The outlets literally kept business going, so don't whine that it can't power a bigass air compressor.. It powered a business! LOL

5amps can run a lot actually. Problem is start up amperage is much higher.

Bar fridge is around 5amps run current. Problem is start up current is more around 7-8amps.

the tacomas have an inverter that give you a full 120V.
120V is low voltage anyways. 12V is extra low voltage.

Coil in that is not really a large inductance type load. You could have ran probably 5 of those.

Startup current of a motor load can be several times the run current.

A laptop uses shit for power. That's what OEM inverters inside the cab were originally intended for
