On a more serious note...I'd say the cooper st maxx are the best all around off road tire. The only negative being the weight...but that particular detail is moot when compared with other tires with similar capabilities.

Like others have mentioned...it really comes down to the individuals use/needs and wants.

Mounted on 2nd generation TRD 16x7 rims they measure roughly 31.5" tall and the full 9.25" section width at 37 psi. The spec says they are supposed to be 31.7 on a 6.5" rim and it's pretty much spot on.

The main reason i went with lt 265 75 16 c rated toyo at2 is for the tread wear. And so far theyre good offroad. Idk how much they weigh though... anyone?

Truth. And A/T is like all season. It only exists in the minds of marketers.

Define 80% of your usage. Pick the tire that fufills that.

It may or may not look great in the parking lot.

Who cares, as long as it works when you need it to?

    Truth.

The reason I went KO2 is (1) I've always had good luck with the BFG AT in, well, all terrains of pavement, dirt roads and mild rocks and (b) because they have the special little (winter tire) snow flake. And they are not too aggressive to drown out the radio or loosen fillings. I've run BFG MT and they give up too much on snowy roads for my use.

This thread is exactly what I expected so far: fans of Toyo OC, Goodyear Duratrac, Michelin LTX, Geolander, Nitto TG, Cooper MAXX, BFG K02, Hankook Dynapro ... aka, take your pick!
    I vote BFG.

Next up: what's the perfect tire size?

    Welcome to TW

I've been happy with my bfg mud terrains, wish they did a little better in light rain and light snow but other than that they're great. Unstoppable in deep snow. Pretty sure next tires will be the Cooper S/T Maxx

    Perfect size ...

For me, it's 33s that don't require trimming.
