lil help..stock uca removal

Attempting to install TC UCA's today. So I have the inner fener bent enough(what a pita) to get out the bolt. How do I remove the stock ball joint from spindle. I'm hung up there currently. thanks for any help

 

nevermind...i just found that it will pop out with a little umph.

Will do. Got the passenger side and ran out of time. Will knock out the drivers side tommorrow. It shouldn't take as long as I think I should know what to expect. Hoping post alignment it helps with the wandering feeling on the highway. Thx

 

you asked for it. couple cheesy pics. I'm a terrible photographer and the iphone doesn't help me too much. TC uca's installed. Now in the hunt for some sliders.

It was a little frustrating to do solo but not terrible. No special tools. i used the sticky post on this site for instructions. I'm sure it said it in the thread somewhere but I probably read over it...you don't need to bend the fender as much as you think. It looks like you do, but when you tap the bolt through it sneaks by. And just like Chris4x4 said, just make sure to not let the washer go with it so it doesn't bind up. And as you can see from the above posts, just knock the old uca out by tapping the threaded bolt through the spindle. It might not be a bad idea to have a few spare plastic clips lying around becuase I always seem to break when I pull them out. (They hold in the rubber skirt). Kudo's to this website for the plethora of knowledge posted. I appreciate the time people take to post their projects with pictures. I'm not sure where they get the patience to do it but it helps us knuckleheads that think we can do everything ourselves without really knowing how.
