Hello gents!! I have a Stage 5 kit on señor taco and when getting an alignment we noticed that the UCA ball joint was loose. I only have like 21k miles on this kit. Is this premature wear? Or standard? Does icon sell bushings?

icon lists replacement uniballs on their site although i don't see anything on replacement bushings.

Im sure Todd aka ICONRep can hook you up.

sucks to think about removing the uca; those bolts and washers were a bitch to install :frusty:

fingers crossed i don't have to replace mine anytime soon

Hey guys sorry for delays, I was out doing shit,,, anyways upon further/investigation,,, somehow my UCA main bolt (the pain in the ass one) had come a tad bit loose, which allowed for play within the uniball. Somehow this is possible. I'm going to email our friends over at Icon for some ideas on how this is possible and what could be done to prevent play. Standby

Cool. Easy fix then - just tighten and you're good?

Yeah I tightened and the play went away. However either way there should be no /play within the Uniball at all if I'm correct ... Any play will allow for extra wear and tear that I/don't need or want to afford.

i retorque mine every oil change just to make sure cause i had them come loose on me aswell about 3k miles after install. ironically though, they havent come loose since. i did read somewhere once before that they should be re-torqued a few thousand miles after install.
