Hey guys, I'm looking to do a 3 inch lift and throw some new tires on my stock 2015 Tacoma TRD Sport. I'd like to continue running on the stock 17's and I'd like to keep my shocks in place as it came standard with the Bilsteins and there's only 20k on them. I'm currently running the 265/70/17 shitty run of the mill Dunlop rubber that came on the vehicle as well but am looking to go to the 285/70/17 BFG KO'2. I have a good idea of what I would like to run for a set up but am looking for some advice and would like to hear if I'm going to run into any issues with the direction I'm heading in. Here's what I'm looking at for a set up:

    - 285/70/17 BFG KO2's

    - Toytec 3 inch lift with front coils and 2 inch Toytec AAL's

    - TAC-DR-05 Front Diff Drop Kit

    - Spidertrax Wheel Spacers (1.25 inch)

From everything I've read my biggest concerns with going to the 285's will be rubbing on the Upper Control Arms, fender walls, flaps and the cab mount? This was my rationale for adding the 1.25 inch wheel spacers.

    Thoughts? Concerns? Recommendations? GO!

So you want to keep the stock 4600 shocks and just replace the coils and add spacers. You're going to lose travel. Diff drops aren't necessary and may or may not cause other problems. 285's and wheel spacers, will solve your uca rub, but may increase your wheel well rub with a compressed suspension. I'm sure you'll find someone who's used this setup and loves it. I wouldn't. Buy once cry once.
