MAKE SURE YOU CHECK TIRE PRESSURE!! Everyone, including the dealer over fills the tires usually to 35psi and that makes the Tacos ride extremely bouncy no matter what trim.

IMHO mine rides very smooth. However my other pickup is a 1-ton '93 Chevrolet 4X4 that I use to haul and pull so I run 80psi in the tyres. I run 35psi in my Tacoma, when I run fast on washboarded gravel it seems to soak up the bumps and is very controlled; more so than anything else I have driven, but all of my experience is on pre-2000 trucks and Jeeps.

My ORDC feels a bit bouncy. But really only when driving under 10 mph over a big bump, like those suburban driveway trenches. It's a free bouncy carnival ride everytime I pull out of my driveway. However, its a great ride on the road and great at decent speeds on dirt, and old rough asphalt. If you are doing slower rocky of roading, you probly want something stiffer. heh heh, I said stiffer.
