Factory JBL system question...

2008 Tacoma TRD 4x4

I currently have an '08 Tacoma without the JBL but I'm soon buying a new truck with the JBL system. Does anyone know if the head unit is the same as the one I have now? I ask because I plan to upgrade the headunit to a Kenwood DNX9140. When I checked Cruthfield's site it says they don't know if it will fit. And because they don't know if it fits or not they say they can't provide installation intructions or free installation accessories. Can anyone clear this up for me please? Thanks!
