Maybe I didn't teach him manners, but i taught him I was the alpha. He didn't mess with me anymore but he still messed with other people who didn't speak his language. Note that I hit him with the flat part of the wrench which didn't cause any injury.

I want a goat or two, dunno how the dog would take it but the yard could use them.

For the most part, they don't mind dogs. Unless your dog is blood thirsty. My amstaff has been great with the chickens and goats. He claims them all and they run to him when stray dogs or coons try to break in.

They do mow the lawn (not evenly like a sheep) but they prefer trees and shrubs. You cant have any landscaping within their reach. They will ruin any plants

With this summer sun after these tropical rains, they couldn't keep the grass down.

I actually had to fire up the craftsman

@FishaRnekEd yat? Before moving to Yosemite last year, I was in NOLA!

Didn't need goats there, but I'm about to get 4-5 for the 4 acres here. Fencing is going in and a shed is being built this week!

STRONG fencing! The little aholes push and rub on the fences.

The dog ear boards with ring shank nails hold up. Chain link holds up.

Welded 2x4in wire does NOT hold up.

A goat under 1year can leap like a deer untill they get a potbelly as they age.

They don't dig at all though
