Tits not BAD, but it does have cutouts where extra tie down points were put in my bed. Definitely shows signs of wear. I will get a picture of it up tomorrow.

My bad!! I was trying to make a joke because I thought you intended to type "bed mat" instead of "bad mat," however you actually did mean "bad mat." The whole thing just blew up in my face. Moderators, please feel free to delete my nonsense.

Oh, lol, I just saw that I typed in "bad" instead of "bed". Yea, that's my fault, hahaha

Daily driver. Bike and kayak hauler. Probably going to put a 2-3" lift under it and some bigger rubber. Nothing outrageous.

Bringing this back from the dead, I am new to TW, but moved from Franklin, WI up to Wauwatosa about a year ago.

Hello my friends from the North... A friend an I are planning an overland trip through WI possibly into MI next summer. We are looking to stay off pavement as much as possible but need to stick to routes that our trucks will fit. We have found some info on trails for ovelanding on bikes (Ex: http://advrider.com/index.php?threads/trans-wisconsin-upper-peninsula-adventure-trail-twupat.842542/) but, not much about trails that trucks are allowed on. We will be traveling up from the IA/IL border. I was wondering, do any of you had any advice on trails up there? Are there any "must see" spots off the beaten path? Good camp sites? Any routes or locations you would suggest we stay away from? Thanks.

Coming from the IA/IL border? That's where I live! Where abouts are you starting?

I'm in the Quad Cities area... Davenport IA/Moline IL... we don't have an exact route figured out yet. We may take paved roads/highways until we get further north. That will depend on what we find for trails and how many days we end up being able to take for the trip.

We definitely plan to cover most of the TWAT. That is actually what got us started thinking about a trip through WI. Obviously since the TWAT is all technically roads our trucks should be good to go but we don't want to just take that route and call it a day. It a good start but we are hoping to do a little more exploring than that. Maybe a few detours and alone the way and keep trekking. Take a different route south.

The northern half of lower Michigan and all of the upper Peninsula are loaded with off-road trails / seasonal roads.
Should you decide to head to the east side of the lake I would be happy to host a day and or help plan a rout.
We do the exploring in a 1990 And revisit the trails suitable for my scratch free super white 2015

The wife and I go weekly this time of year ( not rifle season) and once a month throughout the year.
We've gotten to know our way around the lower P really well. The upper P is like another country and has more off road than on. We need to go there more.
Enjoy the ride whatever you do,,,
